Full time Professor of Nursing at Samuel Merritt University. Teaching across both the Accelerated Bachelor's of Nursing (ABSN) and 'Entry Level Master's (ELMSN) programs at the Sacramento Regional Learning Center. We believe in the importance of accountability, respect, development of critical thinking, and clinical decision making, nursing judgment, utilizing evidence-based practice, advancing knowledge, making patient safety number one, professionalism at every encounter, high level communication, confidence, competence, teamwork/collaboration, and quality care! Faculty provide students an enriched learning environment and positive atmosphere on campus and in a broad range of Sacramento based faciliites in clinical rotations. I am planning on completing my doctorate in December 2013.

Introduction
