Faculty Bio
After completing both medical school and residency at UCSF, I have spent over 20 years in medical education where I have been able to combine my interests in care for the underserved, research and teaching. I have managed multispecialty clinics at Valley Medical Center and St Mary's Medical Center, and have been Program Director and Director of Medical Education at St Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco. The thrill of medicine is to remain both teacher and learner, scientist and artist, conscientious but spontaneous, detached yet empathetic. To be a good physician takes a commitment to a of lifelong learning that enables you to be present in the moment.
I still love what I do and hope to impart this to you.
