Campus Service Center

The Campus Service Center is the first point of contact for current students conducting business with the Offices of Financial Aid, Admission, Academic Support and Disability Services, Registration, and Student Accounts. The Front Office include CSC, Admission, and Student Service Assistants. Admission counseling appointments are made daily from this office, as well as the processing of admission documents. The team is responsible for the disbursing of financial aid checks.  They provide information regarding  student accounts and assist students with registration issues.  They also receive, review and process all student employment documentation and time cards for all campus locations.  For service and operational specifics, please see the Campus Service Center Service Level Agreement below:

 Student Employment

Every academic year, prior to beginning work, all newly hired students must be visit the Campus Service Center to:

  • verify their work study eligibility 
  • present their State issued ID and a Social Security Card or a U.S. Passport
  • complete the following documentation

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Students cannot commence work until their hiring manager has received a completed Student Employment Authorization form that has been signed off on by the Campus Service Center.

Student Timecards

Student timecards must be submitted for each payroll period worked and are due to the Campus Service Center by 12 noon on the Friday before the pay period end (PPE) date.  Blank cards available at the Campus Service Center.

CampusShip (inter-campus courier service)

SMU contracts with United Parcel Service (UPS) to provide a courier service that picks up and delivers inter campus mail daily (M-F) to each campus location.
