Assessment and Accomodation
Students with Learning Disabilities
Arrangements may be made with Diane Hansen, the Coordinator of Academic Support and Disabled Student Services, to help learning disabled and physically and mentally challenged students pursue a successful program of study. Ms. Hansen coordinates services to students, including counseling, note taking, taping lectures, tutoring, and other accommodations. She is also responsible for investigating and handling student complaints of discrimination and overseeing compliance with federal, local and institutional laws and policies, in cooperation with Summit Medical Center Human Resources Office. See the Student Handbook and College Catalog for other information and policies.
