The start of fall classes marked the beginning of the 99th academic year at Samuel Merritt College (SMC). Though typical for the first week, students crowded advising offices to find ways to juggle class schedules and engineer attempts to enter crowded classes. According to Scot Foster, Ph.D., Academic Vice President and Provost, applications for virtually all of our academic programs are at a historic high. read more »
