For the past 10 years I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner at Native American Health Center in Oakland providing care to primary care patients and at Alameda High School-Based Clinic providing care to adolescents. Both settings have been extremely rewarding to me. Each semester I invite FNP interns to precept at both of my clinics to gain the valuable experience I have come to cherish.
