What is it?
Samuel Merritt University is now using a reloadable Visa prepaid card to issue refunds to students. These cards can be used anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted, making them as good as cash and better than checks. Once you have activated your prepaid card, Samuel Merritt University will load it with your remaining loan, grant tuition, scholarship and other school-related refunds. You can use it immediately for book and supply purchases, everyday errands, travel, and life's little emergencies. No more waiting for checks to arrive in the mail; you can even get text or email notification when funds are available.
