Step 1. Locate and press the Windows Key and ‘R’, simultaneously on your keyboard.
   

Step 2. The run dialog box will appear. Type control in the Open field. Hit OK
  

Step 1. Click Start, Run & Enter "services.msc" in the Open: box. Press OK.

Step 2. Scroll down and double click on "Wireless Zero Configuration"

Step 3. Click Start. Click OK. And Close the next window.

Connecting to 'smu_lawn' Mac OS 10.6.8

Click on the Airport utility (top right hand corner) and select 'Open Network Preferences…'

In the 'Network' window, make sure you enable airport if it isn't by clicking on the 'Turn Airport On'. If it is on, go ahead and click on the 'Advanced...' button on the bottom.

Step 1. Select the Wireless Icon.

Step 2. Select Change advance settings.

Step 3. Select the Wireless Networks tab and then Add.

Step 1. Use your wireless configuration software to locate SMU_LAWN and Select Profiles -> Properties

Step 2. Enter Profile Name: SMU_LAWN and SSID: SMU_LAWN

Step 3: Select Prompt for the user name and password. Click More>>

Step 1. Locate your wireless icon on the bottom right taskbar. Right click it and select Open Network and Sharing Center.

Step 2. Select Manage wireless networks.

Connecting to SMU Secured Wireless network

In the Airport utility, Select 'Join Other Network…'

Network Name : smu_lawn
