The Samuel Merritt University Peralta Pavilion (L850) Computer Lab will close on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 6:00am for modernization and improvements.
As the university’s largest computer lab, L850 will be updated first to a more flexible learning space. Some changes include replacing old lecterns with new ones that follow ADA guidelines, replacing outdated PCs with new virtual desktop thin clients, and upgrading other lab equipment. These renovations will provide students and faculty with technology that is responsive to their needs, easy to use, and reliable.
During this closure, users can go to the HEC Library computer lab where additional computers are available. The L850 computer lab construction is expected to be completed over the weekend, and will reopen on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 8:00am.
