Changing Power Options for Laptop Lid Closure

  1. Go into the Control Panel Settings 
  2. Click on Power Options
  3. Click on Advanced tab
  4. Under 'Power buttons', click the dropdown menu under “When I close the lid of my portable computer”.  Choose 'Do Nothing'.
  5. Click 'Apply' and 'Ok' to make the change.
