How to change or reset your SMU password

1.  Open your internet browser and navigate to http://www.samuelmerritt.edu
   
2. Click on the 'Helpdesk' link
   
3. You can either click on 'I Need Help With My Password' or 'Password Reset'.
   
4. Enter in your username, existing password, and new password.  Retype your new password in the space indicated and press 'Submit'

*Note - passwords must be at least 7 characters long, have at least one capital letter and one number.
Passwords cannot be the last 3 used or cannot contain part of your login name.

**Your password will need to be changed every 180 days.
