Steps to Connect to SMU LAWN via Windows 7

Step 1. Locate your wireless icon on the bottom right taskbar. Right click it and select Open Network and Sharing Center.

Step 2. Select Manage wireless networks.

Step 3.  If you see smu_lawn, right click it and select Properties. Then skip to Step 5.   Otherwise go to Step 4.

Step 4.  Select Add and then Manually create a network profile

Step 5.  Enter  the information as shown below and select Next.

Step 6.  Select Change connection settings.

Step 7.  Enter the information as shown below.
 

Step 8. Select the Security tab. Enter the information as shown below. Then click Settings.

Step 9.  Enter the information as shown below. Then select Configure.

Step 10. Enter the information as shown below and then select OK and OK.

Step 11. Select Advanced settings. Enter the information as shown below. Select OK and OK.

Step 12. Locate your wireless icon and connect to smu_lawn.

Step 13. Enter your username and password.

Step 14. Select Connect

Step 15. Verify it says connected.
