Beware of

SMU Confidential

Samuel Merritt University (SMU) is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards. We assure that every member of our university community has the opportunity to report any concerns regarding possible violations of applicable laws, regulations and/or university policies.

If comfortable, we recommend as a first step that you reach out to your immediate supervisor, student leader, Office of People and Culture (OPC) team member, or Assistant Chief of Diversity for matters that can be resolved with their guidance. However, SMU Confidential serves as an alternative method of reporting a concern. You can utilize SMU Confidential to report your concern anonymously, if you prefer. Also, SMU Confidential will provide you a user-friendly online dashboard enabling you to track the status of your case and interact with a case manager.

SMU will not tolerate retaliation against any employee or student who reports or participates in good faith in an internal investigation.

See the SMU Confidential FAQs for more information.
