The Network Services Team manages and develops the services necessary for campus network operations. We manage the campus' external connectivity to BlackBoard, WebMail, Proxy, and Wireless Internet access. We work closely with our Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to manage bandwidth usage and trends, as well as design and operate the core backbone networks (Tier1 and Tier2).
We work closely with other Information Technology Department Managers in respect to network management, large installation projects, and the deployment of new services. Evaluation and testing of new technologies, network equipment, and services help us provide expert advice to other groups on campus and within ITS.
