The Network Services Team manages all campus network operations. We manage the campus' external connectivity to mission critical applications as well as internal connectivity to business support systems and to SMU Wireless networks. We work closely with our Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to manage bandwidth usage and trends, and to design and plan for future needs.
We work closely with other Departments on issues related to network management, large installation projects, and the deployment of new services. Evaluation and testing of new technologies, network equipment, and services help us provide expert advice to the SMU Community.
