Technology Discounts There are various technology discounts available to Samuel Merritt University faculty, staff, and students.  Some of the discounts may require verification of your educational status, such as a valid Samuel Merritt University email address, but most discounts can be obtained by simply clicking through the provided links.

 

Computer Hardware Discounts

  • Apple Products - Samuel Merritt University faculty staff and students qualify for education discounts at The Apple Store.
  • Dell Computer - You can receive up to a 12% discount off Dell list prices. This purchase program also offers the same promotions (free upgrades, etc.) that are offered on the www.dell.com Home and Home Office websites. We have also configured recommended packages to suit your everyday needs.
  • PC Products and General Technology Products (Sutter Health Employee Purchase Program) - purchase your laptops, desktops, monitors, LCD TVs, GPS Units, printer cartridges and an array of products at an exceptional discount.

 

Microsoft Home Use Program

Samuel Merritt University faculty and staff are eligible to receive Microsoft software for personal use under the University’s campus license agreement with Microsoft Corporation. Any employee with a valid samuelmerritt.edu email address may purchase Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 for Windows or 2011 for Mac through this online purchasing program for under $10 (shipping not included).

  • SMU Bookstore - You can receive discounts on computer software and electronic devices at the Samuel Merritt University online bookstore.
