Course Reserve Materials
Course reserve materials include high-demand items, a copy of most required texts, and items placed on reserve by Samuel Merritt University instructors.
You can view the materials on reserve for a course in the library's catalog by clicking the course name or by searching on the course number or instructor's last name.
Reserve items may be borrowed on a first-come, first-served basis and may be renewed if no one else is waiting to borrow them.
Two-hour reserve materials may be borrowed for overnight use if checked out less than two hours before the library closes; in this case, the item must be returned by 9am the following morning.
Reserve items may be checked out only by Samuel Merritt University students, faculty, and staff.
Learning Center students may contact their librarian for assistance with course reserve items.
Instructors can learn about placing items on reserve here.
