Public Transportation
The University is served by public bus lines provided by the Alameda County Transit (AC). Schedules and route information for stops near the Oakland campus are available by calling AC Transit at 800.559.4636 or visiting 511.org
The closest Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) stops are located at 40th and MacArthur Streets in downtown Oakland. Alta Bates Summit Medical Center (ABSMC) runs a shuttle service between MacArthur BART Station and the campus on a daily regular schedule, Monday through Friday.
