Case Management Student & Faculty Work Selected for Psychiatric Conference
Samuel Merritt University (SMU) student Chau Le, Entry-Level Master of Science in Nursing (ELMSN) program, case management track, December 2013 cohort and SMU Assistant Professor Marjorie Hammer had their synthesis abstract, "A Nurse Case Management Program for Survivors of Military Sexual Trauma," selected as a poster presentation at the 2014 International Society of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses Psychopharmacology Institute and Annual Conference.
The conference, “Advanced Practice Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurses: Advancing Mental Health Across the Lifespan," is being held on March 26-29, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency Greenville in Greenville, South Carolina.
Earlier this year, Chau Le was one of 20 nursing students from across the country to be named to the inaugural class of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) Board of Directors Student Scholars. Read more here.
