Vacation

Samuel Merritt College recognizes the importance to individual faculty a staff for time away from the workplace to balance and enjoy life. Members of the SMC community need time off work to enjoy rest and relaxation and to spend time with family, friends and for other personal issues. Through its Vacation Time Policy, the College provides benefit-eligible faculty and staff a mechanism whereby vacation time can be requested and granted within appropriate requirements of the law.
