A change has been made to the deadline for completion of prerequisites for those applying to the ABSN program effective Summer 2011. Prerequisites may be in progress at the time of application, but must be completed at the end of the specified semester as indicated below. This applies to all courses, campus based, self-paced or independent study. Exceptions may be considered by petition, made to the Chairperson of the ABSN program.
The new deadlines for completion of prerequisites are (effective beginning Summer 2011 entry):
Summer Entry
- San Francisco
Prerequisites must be completed by the end of fall semester. - Oakland
Prerequisites must be completed by the end of fall semester. - San Mateo
Prerequisites must be completed by the end of fall semester.
Fall Entry
- San Francisco
Prerequisites must be completed by the end of spring semester.
Spring Entry
- Sacramento
Prerequisites must be completed by the end of summer. - San Mateo
Prerequisites must be completed by the end of summer.
