Free Pediatric Occupational Therapy Clinic

OT Pediatric ClinicThe Occupational Therapy Department at Samuel Merritt University provides a free pediatric clinic to children between the ages of 6 months and 16 years.  Clients receive services from students in the Master of Occupational Therapy Program, whose work is supervised by occupational therapy instructors.

Occupational therapists work with children who have difficulty engaging in the typical activities of childhood due to medical conditions, developmental challenges, or injury.  An occupational therapist helps children develop skills to enhance their participation in self-care, play and school activities.
