ECS Salutes Nursing Students

Nursing students from Samuel Merritt University and San Francisco State University volunteer weekly at ECS supportive housing sites and emergency shelter program. They lead healthy living workshops, check clients' blood pressure and sugar levels, and provide flu shots as well as medical case management and referrals. Our clients and residents are grateful for the nursing students' assistance and ask about them when they are on break. So it is with many voices that we thank the SMU and SFSU nursing faculty and students for their important and life-affirming work!
