WASC Welcome

Samuel Merritt University welcomes the accreditation evaluation team from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) on November 17 - November 19, 2009. The visitors will be conducting the Capacity and Preparatory Review (CPR) review, the first of two evaluation onsite visits for institutional reaccreditation. The focus of the CPR team is to evaluate SMU purposes, integrity, fiscal stability, and organizational structures supporting student learning.

An open meeting with students has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 18 at noon in the Bechtel Hall Living Room. Open meetings for faculty (West Pavilion Conference Room - Second Floor) and staff (HEC 203) have been scheduled on the same day at 11:00 a.m.

The WASC Team will hold an exit meeting for all members of the SMU campus on Thursday, November 19, at 10:00 a.m. in the Bechtel Hall Living Room.
