Transition to Professional Nursing Practice (T2P)

A Competency Based Program Supporting the Development of Newly Graduated RNs

***Summer 2010 Transition to Professional Nursing Practice***
June 11, 2010 – September 26, 2010

This program is designed to enhance the abilities of new graduate registered nurses in the San Francisco Bay Area who have experienced difficulty securing RN employment. Sacramento area residents will be considered for a limited number of placements in that area.

The program leverages the strengths of Samuel Merritt University (SMU) School of Nursing and collaborating clinical partners in the provision of classroom, laboratory, and clinical experiences which serve to build on the prelicensure education of new graduates as they move into professional practice roles.
