Admission Overview Sessions, ABSN and ELMSN programs

To learn more about either the ABSN or ELMSN programs, we offer regular admission overview sessions. The information is general in nature and will include information on admission requirements, prerequisites and the application process. You are encouraged to bring copies of all college level transcripts with you and you may leave them with an Admission Counselor who will check them for the required prerequisites and get back to you in 5-10 working days.

You do not need to RSVP for most of these admission overview sessions. Please see each listing for possible RSVP instructions. The rooms will seat approximately 40 people and seats are made available on a first come, first served basis. Sessions will begin promptly at the designated time.

  • Oakland campus: All events will be held in the Peralta Medical Office Building, 3100 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, CA, 94609. Parking is either available at meters on Telegraph Avenue or in the parking structure on 29th Street (cash only).
  • San Mateo campus: All events will be held at 1720 South Amphlett Boulevard, Suite 300, San Mateo, CA 94402. Free parking is available in the lot surrounding the building.
  • Sacramento campus: All events will be held at the Sacramento Regional Learning Center at 2710N Gateway Oaks Drive. Free parking is available in the lots surrounding the buildings. Space is limited to 40 people.

Community Information Session for those Interested in Nursing

Samuel Merritt University will be hosting an Information Session for students interested in learning more about obtaining an education in Nursing.  This will include general admission information on our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN), and Entry-Level Master of Science in Nursing (ELMSN) programs. Please join us!  No RSVP needed.
