The incidence of Autism is increasing at an alarming rate. To date, scientists around the world are collaborating to discover the probable cause(s) of Autism. The soon to be released Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) is putting the final touches on a more accurate diagnostic and treatment approach for Autism.
This presentation will describe some promising lines of research and interventions that provide hope for parents and health care professionals for managing behaviors and functional outcomes.
