Dennis McReynolds is a member of Samuel Merritt University's Department of Student Services as the Student Services and Veterans Resource Coordinator. Dennis coordinates new student orientation on the Oakland campus, the University-wide Veterans' Resource Program, including delivering programming for Veteran and Active Duty students on all campuses, and administers the Federal Yellow Ribbon Campaign for SMU in partnership with other departments. As a 15 year veteran himself, Dennis brings his expertise to support and guide student veterans at SMU.
Dennis is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor, teaching Drugs and Society in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at SMU. He is a Certified Addiction Treatmen Counselor IV (C.A.T.C. IV), with over 20 years in the field.
