Employees will accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, beginning 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. There is a cap of 72 hours of accrued paid sick leave. When an employee uses paid sick leave it will be deducted from the employee's PTO balance. If an employee has exhausted their PTO balance, then s/he is ineligible for paid sick leave. PTO accruals are considered adequate to cover 12W accrual requirements. No separate accrual account is required.
