Cecily Reeves
PhD, FNP, PA-C
I have been a practicing FNP-C/PA-C since 1979, with many years providing care in the UCSF AIDS Clinic as well as the emergency departments at UCSF as Highland Hospital. I provided specialty care to Transgender inmates in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation system until 2011. I have been teaching at Samuel Merritt University since 1998 and I have been both interim director of the Case Management Program and interim Chair of the Physician Assistant Department, as well as 6 years as FNP Program Director, 3 years as DNP Progtram Director and 2 years as the President of the Faculty Organization.
Teaching Interest
Transgender health care, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, HIV and AIDS symptom management and quality of life.

I teach in both the DNP and FNP Programs, as well as guest presentations for the pre-licensure nursing programs.
