Faculty Bio
Erick Pierce
MSN, CRNA, PNP-AC

I grew up in the Great Lakes and received my bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Penn State University. In a decade as a neonatal ICU, pediatric cardiac and pediatric flight nurse, I had the opportunity to live in many cities throughout the country. In 2005, I settled in my wife’s native Northern California. Having experienced many parts of the country, I can say with confidence that Northern California has the best combination of climate and lifestyle available anywhere.

I received my MSN in Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from USCF in 2008 and a post-Master's certificate in Nurse Anesthesia from Samuel Merritt University in 2010. Outside of academic teaching, I am staff CRNA for the Permanente Medical Group and work as per diem CRNA as an area county hospital.
