Fall Preview Day

Join Samuel Merritt University faculty, students and staff for an informative day of information sessions, campus tours and networking during Fall Preview Day. Design your own schedule by picking and choosing the sessions that interest you most and when you’re ready, submit your RSVP by clicking the button above. Come and go from the event as you please. Guests of the prospective student are also welcome to attend.

Information Sessions

Choose one or more information sessions that you would like to attend. 

9–10:30 a.m.

Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing
For students who already have a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field.

RN to BSN
For associate degree prepared registered nurses.

Physical Therapy
Includes a program and admission overview and faculty and current student networking opportunities.

Podiatric Medicine & Surgery​
For students interested in becoming DPMs.

Certified Nurse Anesthesia
Prepares critical care nurses to provide anesthetic care.

11–12:30 p.m.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
For transfer students who do not have a bachelor’s degree.

Entry-Level Master of Science in Nursing
For students who already have a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field. Content will cover both the Case Management and Family Nurse Practitioner options.

Post-Professional Nursing
For RNs with an interest in the graduate Family Nurse Practitioner, Case Management or Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. 

Occupational Therapy
For students with an interest in our Doctor of Occupational Therapy program.

Physician Assistant 
For new students with an interest in our two-year MPA program.

All Day Activities

Campus Tours, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Campus tours will be offered every thirty minutes throughout the day. Meet in the Atrium of the Health Education Center. The last tour leaves at 1 p.m. 

Student Services Fair, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 

Meet with representatives from the Office of Admission, Financial Aid, the Disability Resource Center, Veterans Services, and a number of our student organizations. 

MARC Demonstrations, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Learn more about the Motion Analysis Research Center through interactive demonstrations.
