About Me

As a physical therapist, I practice at a long term care VA facility and vascular wound clinic, specializing in vascular wounds and edema management. I am also a clinical preceptor to PT's, NP's, RN's, LVN, and PTA's. I have also practiced in acute/intensive care, rehabilitation facilities, home health, and burn care.
As a spouse, I am a husband to a wonderful wife who is also a physical therapist, incredible mother, and best friend.
As a father, I have two terrific daughters and son's in law, all of whom I am extremely proud.  
As a person, I am actively involved in our church, as well as an avid gardener, do-it-yourselfer, and enjoy anything Italian.  

Education

I majored in Human Physiology, earned a Bachelor of Science/George Williams College, I earned a Bachelor of Physical Therapy/Northwestern University, most recently earned aDoctor of Physical Therapy/University of the Incarnate Word.  Clinical education has consisted of numerous continuing education courses related to care of the Integumentary system, focusing on Vascular wounds and management of edema.

Teaching Interests

Management of chronic wounds and edema.  Application of advanced living cell grafts, including placental and umbilical cord tissues.
