About Me

Born in Tacoma Washington, and grew up in San Jose California, and lived in Los Angeles during graduate and postdoctoral education.  I worked briefly as an Emergency Medical Technician in San Jose.  I worked for 12 years in the Cardiac Pathology Division, Department of Pathology, Stanford University School of Medicine.  I started teaching anatomy for the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989, when the campus was in San Francisco.  I left in 2001, and returned in 2005 to the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University.

Education

Undergraduate education at San Jose State University.
Graduate education at the School of Medicine, University of California Los Angeles.
Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Pharmacology, UCLA School of Medicine.

Teaching Interests

My focus is on teaching anatomy with a clinical emphasis, and on collaborating with clinicians in hands-on correlation of anatomy with clinical procedures.
