About Me
I started my nursing career at Samuel Merritt Hospital and have not strayed far, from "Pill Hill." My goal, when entering nursing school was to become a Midwife. Once I started practice, and discovered the joy of teaching students, and witnessing their Aha moments in learning, my career path changed.
I received my MSN in 1994 along with my NCC Certification as a High Risk OB Nurse (now a retired certification). My first teaching gig was at the University of the Virgin Islands. after 4 years and 5 hurricanes', I returned to the Bay Area and was the Women's Health Case manager for Hill Physicians Medical Group. I became adjunct faculty in 2002 and full time faculty in 2004. I still love those Ah Ha moments, with my students.

I received my BSN at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and MSN and the University of San Francisco
