Oakland, Sacramento and San Mateo
To schedule a counseling appointment, please call or email the Campus Service Center at:
Call: (510) 869-1550
Please specify at which campus you wish to have your counseling appointment.
Prospective students who have questions about meeting admission requirements are encouraged to make an appointment with an admission counselor. However, we highly encourage prospective students to attend an information session prior to scheduling an appointment as the most frequently asked questions are often answered in these settings. A schedule of upcoming information sessions is listed on the admissions pages for each program.
Counseling appointments are available weekdays during regular business hours. A counseling appointment will last approximately 30 minutes with the primary purpose being to review transcripts for prerequisites. Please bring unofficial transcripts with you to the appointment.
Because of the limited length of the appointment, arriving on time is important. Prospective students who arrive late may need to reschedule or have the length of their appointment reduced.
For prospective students who are unable to come to a campus for an appointment, phone appointments are available.
Drop-In Counseling (Oakland only)
**Drop-in counseling will not be available the week of August 15, 2016**

Drop-in counseling is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. Because of time limitations, transcript reviews are not conducted during drop-in counseling. Drop-in counseling is not available during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's.
