Success Measures

I. Professional Readiness

• Employment rates in the profession within six and 12 months of graduation
• Retention rates for first-year and all-time retention by program
• Graduation rates within 100% of program length, 150% of program length
• Program GPA  by graduating year

II. Service to the Community

• Participation in educationally purposeful community service and other co-curricular activities

III. Achievement, of Course, Program, and Institutional Learning Outcomes

• Direct evidence and analysis of student learning outcomes are available in the Institutional Effectiveness Center on SMU’s Canvas learning-management system site. This site contains curricular maps, key assignments, assessment plans, teaching and learning assessment reports, and evidence of student learning.
