About Me

Jen Fidge lives in St Helena wither her husband and three kiddos and works as a CRNA at St Helena Hospital.  Prior to becoming a CRNA Jen worked as a RN out of nursing school for a short period and then went to Loma Linda University to attend their FNP program.  Jen worked as a FNP in the urgent care setting for about 3 years at which point she decided to go back to school one more time and this time to Samuel Merritt University to pursue becoming a CRNA which has proven to be a great choice!

Jen enjoys boating and waterskiing, snow skiing, running, and hanging out with her husband and three kiddos!

Teaching Interests

Jen started teaching the Advanced Health Assessment class for Samuel Merritt University in 2016 and taught through 2021.  She took a break after 2021 and returned to teach in 2025.

Jen really enjoys teaching and getting to interact with students.  A highlight for her is getting to work with her students during their cardiac rotation in the program and see their growth and also seeing them apply what they learned in her class.

Scholarly Interests

Jen does a lot of cardiac anesthesia at St Helena Hospital and really enjoys it and all the continual learning opportunities that come with it.
