Institutional Research and Evaluation

Mission

The Institutional Research and Evaluation  (IRE) Office provides objective, systematic and thorough research and analysis in support of the institution's strategic and operational planning, policy formation, and decision-making. Detailed information is available to administrative officials, governing boards and accreditation agencies. Aggregated data are available for public use.

The Office of IRE is committed to ensuring consistency and accuracy of information reporting. In addition, the Office serves as a vehicle to foster the sharing and communication of data and information.

Specific Areas of Responsibility

  • Providing accurate and timely information and analyses Centralis

  • Collecting, disseminating, analyzing, and promoting the use of information for University planning, decision-making, and assessment at all levels

  • Providing internally consistent and accurate reports to federal, state, and accrediting agencies

  • Maintaining a service orientation toward the University community and public at large

  • Supporting other units in conducting program evaluations, outcome studies, and other projects designed to improve the quality of services and programs
