Thinking About Joining Our MSW Program?
Dear Prospective student! I hope you’re getting your questions answered about the MSW program at Samuel Merritt University. We are here to help. We’re hosting twice-monthly Q&A sessions throughout June and July to help you learn more about the program and support you in completing your application (see below for details on how to RSVP to these online meetings).
I also look forward to meeting many of you at our Campus Tour and Open House on June 28th at 12:30 PM. You’ll have the chance to explore our classrooms, library, and health simulation labs. We will also provide a virtual tour of our new campus at 12th & Broadway, where you'll be learning and starting in your second semester in January 2026.
During the open house, we’ll also provide a brief orientation on how each incoming student is provided an iPad to support your learning— used for accessing your digital textbooks, submitting assignments, navigating our online learning systems, and taking notes during class.
We’re excited to welcome you into our community and support your advancement in social work!
