Consider joining the CPM Dean’s Circle with a gift of $500 or more to the Alumni & Associates Endowed Scholarship Fund, the Alumni & Associates Operating Fund, or any other CPM fund. Reunions
To learn more about custom reunions or to share your ideas for a special reunion, contact alumniaffairs@samuelmerritt.edu. Our team is here to assist you in planning a wonderful and memorable gathering with your friends and classmates.
The Office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving can assist with alumni reunions. There are two types of reunions:
- Ongoing reunions include the annual Nursing Reunion held in November of each year, to which all nursing alumni are invited. These events are fully organized by SMU.
- Custom reunions support milestone-year reunions, including 10-year, 25-year, and 50-year class reunions. Custom reunions are coordinated by SMU in partnership with class leaders and alumni volunteers who advise on reunion goals and event details. These reunions benefit from advanced, joint planning by alumni and SMU staff.
Approved University reunions are vigorously advertised to alumni and have access to a variety of resources and support from the University. Non-sanctioned University reunions cannot be advertised to alumni, and alumni contact lists will not be provided outside of SMU staff in order to protect the personal identifiable information (PII) of our alumni.
