Fresno Campus Open House + Instant Decision Day

Samuel Merritt University's Fresno Campus will be hosting an Open House + Instant Decision Day Event on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1791 E. Fir Ave. Fresno, Ca 93720

This event is aimed at providing prospective students the opportunity to visit the campus and receive application guidance for our Fall 2026 cohort. Attendees can work with an Admission Counselor to finalize required components of the CAS application, meet with SMU staff and faculty, and receive a same-day conditional admission decision.

NOTE: To attend this event, students must submit a Fall 2026 ABSN application in NursingCAS.

Applicants are considered for admission to the ABSN program based upon the following criteria:

- Completion of a minimum of 75 semester units (or 112.5 quarter units) from an accredited institution with a grade of “C” or better in all prerequisite courses.
- A recommended GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 semester units (or 90 quarter units) of coursework and a recommended GPA of 3.0 across the six required science prerequisite courses.
- A recommended HESI A2 score of 75% or higher in each subject area or TEAS score of 65% or higher in each subject area.
