Join the California Association of Nurse Practitioners (CANP) Alameda/Contra Costa Chapter and SMU's College of Nursing alumni and Doctor of Nurse Practitioner (DNP) program faculty for a travel-themed mixer!
Grab your passport and head to each station to complete your activity. As you "travel", you'll learn information about how to navigate, apply and interact with the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). On a layover by the Sigma Theta Tau table you will learn about benefits of membership and about international participation. Meanwhile at the Transition to Practice table, learn about curriculum vitae (CV) and resume writing, interview tips and how to use a digital business card, plus 103/104b information.
