About Me
I am a Samuel Merritt University alumni and have been practicing as a physical therapist in the acute care, acute rehabilitation, and outpatient neuro settings with a focus on patients with neurological and vestibular disorders. I am a board certified Neurological Clinical Specialist, Kaiser Permanente Neurologic PT Residency Faculty, and also have certification as a Parkinson's Wellness Recovery (PWR!) trained therapist as well as Balance Based Torso Weighting (BBTW). I currently practice as an outpatient neuro therapist and can be found on campus with a primary role as the Assistant Director of Clinical Education working with second year students on their clinical placements and clinical learning. In my teaching roles, I can be found throughout the 3 years, with a focus in patient/client management of the patient with a neurological diagnosis. I enjoy being outdoors, yoga, and spending time with my husband and two little girls. We have one cat and one hamster who tolerate each other.
