About Me

I have been a nurse since 2008. I started my nursing career in the Emergency Department where I worked for 11 years. During that time I obtained my Masters In Nursing- inspired by wanting to know more about how and why the health care system operates the way it does.  I started working part-time at Samuel Merritt in 2018 and accepted a full-time position in 2020. I live in Oakland with my husband and two children. 

Education

I attended Biola University and received my BSN in 2008.  In 2012 I received my MSN in Health Policy from UC San Francisco.
