About Me
I am an instructor at Samuel Merritt University, a practicing clinician, and business owner. I have spent most of my career in Outpatient Orthopedics settings. After several years in orthopedics I developed an interest in Breast Cancer rehab and Pelvic floor Physical Therapy. After several advanced courses and mentoring, I began to pursue treating patients in breast cancer rehab and people with pelvic floor dysfunction. I now co-own a specialty clinic in Oakland with two fellow physical therapists - Level Up Wellness and Physical Therapy.
Education
After starting my college career at University of California-Santa Cruz (go slugs!), I transferred and is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology. I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University.
Teaching Interests
My teaching interests are in the Patient/Client management of Orthopedic conditions. I am passionate about introducing concepts around pelvic floor dysfunction and oncology rehab for the outpatient orthopedic clinician.
