About Me

Having grown up in the Bay Area, Christa proceeded to Southern California following a Division I volleyball scholarship offer at UC Irvine where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology.  She then decided to follow her passion to become a nurse and attended Samuel Merritt Univeristy, Sacramento, graduating as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Since entering the workforce, Christa has practiced in family practice, pulmonary medicine, and specializes in geriatrics while authoring continuing education courses. She takes pride in being a full-time Samuel Merritt Faculty member and has completed the Doctorate in Nursing Practice program. 
She now resides in El Dorado Hills, California, and spends her free time being active and outdoors with her family.
