What they teach

While my role is administrative, primarily overseeing clinical rotations, you’ll also see me collaborating with faculty to facilitate experiential learning such as Introduction to Clinical Medicine and Surgical Case-Based Learning. I value longitudinal mentorship, supporting students throughout their clinical education.

Clinical practice area

My area of special interest is in complex wound care, diabetes-related foot conditions, and amputation prevention. I value caring for the patient as a whole, combining interdisciplinary collaboration with an understanding of social and healthcare barriers to improve outcomes, preserve mobility, and prevent limb loss.

Notable affiliations

I practice at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, a public safety-net health system serving a diverse population. This multidisciplinary environment shapes how I teach, emphasizing that excellent patient care not only requires clinical knowledge and skills, but also communication, teamwork, and an understanding of barriers patients face in navigating healthcare.
