I grew up in the Bay Area and love everything it has to offer. My husband and I got married young and have 4 kiddos ages 10, 8 and 6 and 1 year old. I have always worked in pediatric nursing, mainly in hematology and oncology with some of the other specialties sprinkled in. I currently work as a bedside nurse at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital and Research Center Oakland where I have been since 2011. I have a passion for local community and my family and I are very involved in the foster care system where we are a certified foster family. We're also invested in helping the systemic problems that pervade our neighbors such as racial and social injustices and homelessness.
I graduated from Biola University with my BSN and PHN in 2008, I received my Master's of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in education in 2016 from Grand Canyon University. I am currently working on my Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree at SMU.
