NURS N164 Managing Care of the Adults III
I have been an RN since 1994. I started my career in gerontology and then transitioned to medical-surgical nursing. I continued to expand my nursing experience by working in telemetry and then finally specializing in critical care. During my time in ICU, I returned to school and completed a masters degree and a PHD. After receiving my PhD, I began teaching and since 2010 have been working full time at Samuel Merritt University.
I received my undergraduate nursing degree (BSN) from Minnesota State University, Mankato Campus. I received my master's of science degree (MS) from the University of California, San Francisco. My emphasis was on critical care/trauma and education. I received my doctorate in philosophy (PhD) from the University of California, San Francisco.
