About Me

I graduated from Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York in 1982. I moved to California after graduation and have lived in the Bay Area ever since.  

I have been at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley since 1991, working in various capacities within the physical therapy department, and have been the Director of Physical and Sports Medicine since 1997. I have also held various administrative positions there, including Patient Safety Officer for four years. Besides director of PSM, I am currently a Patient Safety Specialist,  a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer, and a certified Caritas Coach.
